姉妹都市グレシャム市へ高校生が派遣されました（令和７年度）　Ebetsu's High School Students Return from Sister City Gresham

令和７年度姉妹都市グレシャム市への高校生派遣事業

　江別市都市提携委員会では、国際的な視野の拡大と姉妹都市交流の促進を目的に、毎年米国オレゴン州グレシャム市に高校生を派遣しています。 令和７年度は、令和８（2026）年2月2日から2月21日までの約3週間にわたって、2名の高校生を派遣し、現地でホームステイをしながら学校生活を過ごしてきました。3月12日には、都市提携委員会の龍田委員長とともに、後藤市長への表敬訪問を行い、グレシャム市での貴重な体験を報告しました。

　　In order to broaden horizons and promote sister city exchange, the Ebetsu Sister City Committee sends high school students to our sister city of Gresham, Oregon every year. Two students participated in a homestay and attended a local high school from February 2 to February 21. On March 12, they visited Mayor Goto along with the president of the Ebetsu Sister City Committee, Masaki Tatsuta. The students talked about their life-changing experience in Gresham.
