冬の集い２０２４　Winter Fest 2024

江別市国際交流推進協議会が主催する国際交流イベント「冬の集い２０２４」が２月１１日に開催されました。

ダンス、空手演武、高校留学生の自国紹介、外国料理の紹介のほか、ピニャータ（くす玉）割や茶道コーナーなど、楽しい国際交流イベントが盛り沢山でした！また、会場の外には、各協力団体が製作した雪だるまや雪像が並んでいました。

そして、国際交流員の佐藤クリスタルが「子育てミートアップ」を設けました。子育てミートアップは、国籍を問わない親子での国際交流サロンです。日本、アメリカ、オーストラリアの家族が参加しました。大人はおしゃべりしながら、新しいママ友・パパ友を作り、国際交流をすることができました。未就学のお子さんは、おもちゃや塗り絵などを楽しみました。

冬の集いは来年も開催予定です。ぜひお楽しみに！

Winter Fest 2024 was held at the Ebetsu International Center on Sunday, February 11 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Visitors enjoyed a dance performance, a karate demonstration, presentations from international students, an introduction of American food, breaking a piñata, tea ceremony, and much more! Snow sculptures built by various organizations were on display outside of the venue.

There was also a "Moms Meetup" hosted by Krystal Sato, Coordinator for International Relations. Parents from Japan, America, and Australia attended with their babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Parents were able to socialize and make new friends, while children enjoyed playing with toys and coloring.

We plan to hold the Ebetsu Winter Fest again next year!
