こんにちは！国際交流員の佐藤クリスタルです。
12月15日（木）に、江別市子育て広場「ぽこ あ ぽこ」で「英語であそぼう！」を開催しました。3歳から6歳の子ども12人が参加し、私と遊びながら、とても楽しく英語を学ぶことができました。
今回のテーマは「クリスマス」でした。雪だるま、雪の結晶、サンタさん、色々なおもちゃのカードを示しながら、発音を教えました。"What do you want for Christmas?" （クリスマスに何がほしいですか？）という質問を練習しました。その後、クリスマスの音楽に合わせてプレゼントを回し、音楽が止まった瞬間にプレゼントを持っている子どもが "What do you want for Christmas?" の質問に対して答えるゲームもしました。 最後に、英語の絵本「クリスマス・ウィズ・テディベア」の読み聞かせを楽しみました。沢山歌を歌い、体を動かし、クリスマスの話を聞くことを通じて、楽しく英語に触れることができました。
今年度はあと1回「英語であそぼう！」を開催する予定ですので、是非ご参加ください！

"Let's Play in English!" was held at Ebetsu City's child-rearing space, "Poco A Poco," on Thursday, December 15. Twelve children ranging from 3 years old to 6 years old participated, and they had a fun time playing and learning English with me.
The theme was "Christmas." I taught the children words such as snowman, snowflake, Santa Claus, and the names of various toys. We practiced the question, "What do you want for Christmas?" After that, we played a game. The children passed a present around the circle in time with a festive Christmas song, and when the music stopped, the child holding the present had to answer, "What do you want for Christmas?" Finally, the children enjoyed my reading of the English picture book, Christmas with Teddy Bear. Through singing many songs, moving their bodies, and listening to stories about Christmas, the children were able to experience English.
"Let's Play in English!" will be held once more this school year, so please join us!
